JANE CURRAN STROUD

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her, Jane Curran Stroud, passed away July 20, 1996, at the age of 76 at her home in Salt Lake City.

She was born on December 4, 1919, County of Lanark, Scotland.

Mom loved her family with all her heart and soul. She made certain that we all knew how much we were loved. Each and every grandchild also held an exceptional place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Hugh LeRoy Stroud; and son, Hugh Scott Stroud.

She is survived by three sons, Steven Alexander (Sandy), Daniel James (Vicki), Brent LeRoy (Linda); grandchildren, James, Scott, Stephanie Anderson (Tracy), Daniel, Jay, David, Brent, James, and Shawna; great-grandchild, Marek; a sister, Margaret Stone (Phillip) of Fallbrook, California.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Kenneth Nielsen for the special care he gave her. We will miss the cakes and pies she made as a specific treat for all of our birthdays as it gave her much joy in doing so. She will be deeply missed. Until we meet again "We love you, Mom..."

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 23, at 12 noon at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South. Friends may call 1/2 hour prior to services. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens of the Valley, 10600 South 1700 East.
