  Rebecca was born in Maryland in 1752. She was the wife of Zachariah Beall [m. abt. 1772] who traveled with her family and others of Scottish heritage from Frederick Co., Maryland abt. 1799. They traveled on horseback down the Great Valley Road to Iredell County, North Carolina with their 7 children Horatio, Jane, Jermima, Drucilla and her twin Walter, Aza and Burgess Lamar. [4 of whom became doctors].
