Robert married Margaret Cubie (1557-1645) in Prestonpans, Gloucestershire, England [sic. Prestonpans is in Scotland] in 1577. Margaret was the daughter of Walter Cubie (1515-?) and unknown mother. Margaret was from Scotland, and this couple lived in Scoltand, and their only child was born in Scotland. Robert and Margaret Calvert were the parents of Anne Marie Calvert.
