      LOIS M. HYDE SMITH, 90, of Southaven, formerly of Memphis, homemaker and former employee of Memphis Defense Distribution Depot, died of heart failure Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven.

      Services will be at noon Monday at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with burial in Yellow Leaf Cemetery in Oxford, Miss.

      Mrs. Smith, the widow of Joseph Alton Smith, leaves a daughter, Dorothy J. Sudduth of Nesbit, Miss., and two grandchildren.
