Burial in Lexington Cemetery with Masonic graveside services held by Lexington Lodge of which he was a member. Revs. Reuel J. Cooper, Douglas Springer and John Roark officiated. He was BORN 10/31/1931 in Lee County, son of M/M. George F. Gay. Married Miss Maxine Terry on 8/15/1952 in Houston. He was owner of Western Auto Store in Lexington. Member of Lexington Eastern Star, First Baptist Church, Lexington Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Maxine Gay of Lexington; son, David Gay of Lexington; daughter, Glenda Gay of Lexington; parents also of Lexington; brother, Harold Spears of Houston; sister, Barbara Blocker of Rapid City, SD.
