    Record of John E. Alexander: Aaron Alexander moved from New Munster settlement and settled in Sherman's Valley, Chester Co., PA in 1748. CCMd Land Deed's J.S.10:124 Aaron sold land willed to him by his father David to John Alexander of Chester, Pa. Aaron of Petersburg Twp.Cumberland Co., Pa. 1751, farmer, appoints friend Moses of Milford Hd, farmer, to sell part of "New Munster" (was father's David) Ref: J.S 7:270 & 271 Cecil Co Land Deeds). On Nov. 15, 1749 Aaron Alexander farmer of Lancaster Co. Pa. deeded John Alexander of Township of New Brittain, Chester Co. Pa, part of a tract called new Munster, which did formerly belong to David Alexander of Cecil Co. Md. One of the witnesses to this deed was Zebulon Alexander (Cecil Co. probate Book J:S: .7-121)

    Record of John E. Alexander "Of the original Alexanders of the New Munster purchase, David sold to John Alexander of Chester county, Pa. David himself removed to Chester county and died there: after which his widow married a Mr. Dobins, and removed with her husband to the Cape Fear river,N.C., where her daughter Anne Alexander married Gilbert Clark, the first Elder of the first Presbyterian church which was gathered in that region under the ministry of the Rev. Mr.Campbell in 1765. Several other Alexander families removed from Chester county to North Carolina with Dobins and his wife, and settled in Mecklenburg county. This was in 1749.

In Cecil Co.,Deeds J:S: 7 12-, 15 Nov 1749 he sells to John Alexander of Chester Co, farmer, part of New Munster which was his father David's. In Deeds J:S 7:121 appts friend, James Alex'r, tanner, and has sold to John Alexander 1749. 7:270. Aaron Alexander of Petersburg Twp Cumberland Co.Pa 1751, farmer apoints Moses of Milfore Hd, farmer to sell part of New Munster that was David Alexander's (Cecil Co probate Book V 7: P 270)

    Helen Smith: "Aaron Alexander born about 1720 married Mary Brown and Jean Brown Ross (a widow of Ross). His brother William born about 1728 married Rebecca Brown. They and their brother Ezekiel Alexander born 1726 all went south to Mecklenburg, NC about 1750. We cannot find the Surname of Ezekiel's wife, Martha, but she could have been a Brown. Their father, David Alexander had land in New Munster, Cecil Co. Md. before 1714 and was said to have moved to Chester Co. Pa where he died. His daughter Ann married Gilbert Clark.
