  There is a Revolutionary Warrent # 3792 - Heirs of James Simeral, Sargent: 1000 Acres, November 15, 1793. This 1000 acre land grant to James Simril from the State of North Carolina in 1793 was a bonus for his services to the American Revolutionary Cause. That land supposedly was in White County, Tennessee where James died abt 1820. I am descended from Rebecca Jane Simril who married Thomas Claiborne Neal. Her father was James Simril II who married Jennie Garrison. His father was James Simril I who married the widow Henderson. The DAR Patriot Index lists a James Simrall/Simeral/Simrell/Sumrall (b. 1740 NC and d 1800 in Tennessee) as having served in the Cavalry in South Carolina during the Rev War and as being married to Mrs. Violet Barry Henderson. I am interested in information on his parents. Willing to share what I know. Any information greatly appreciated.
