  	ODESSA Robert Lynn Davidson, 69, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at the Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born June 19, 1938 in Odessa to Horace James and Pauline (Powell) Davidson. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. He worked in the oil industry. He was a Baptist. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Dan Davidson of White House, TN, and Lance Davidson of Elizabethtown, KY, daughter, Janna Mott of Fuquay Varina, NC, brother, Jack Westerfeldt of Odessa, sisters, Georgianna "Ann" McCord of El Paso and Marion Seglem of Odessa and (4) grandchildren. There will be a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007, at the Odessa Cemetery with Dan Davidson officiating. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He has 3 siblings: Georgiana Mae Davidson, sister, b. 10 Aug 1936 Jack Waymond Westerfeldt,Jr, half-brother, b. 21 Feb 1943 Marian Edna Westerfeldt, half-sister, b. 7 Jan 1944. On 13 Apr 1956 he joined the United States Marine Corps for a 6 year enlistment and served faithful until honarably discharged on 12 Apr 1962. He married Barbara June Dale on 11 Jun 1960.
