- FINAL RITES HELD FOR JOHN E DAVIDSON
John Edward Davidson, 30, was killed Saturday at his home five miles east of Cleo Springs by the accidental discharge of a shotgun he was taking out of his pickup. The discharge struck him in the right side and he lived less than a half hour
Funeral services were held in the Cleo Springs Methodist church Monday morning with the pastor J. N. Holmes officiating. Burial was in the Square Cedar cemetery with the Wentworth Mortuary in charge. The American Legion of Carmen rendered thq graveside services.
Davidson was a veteran of World War II having served in-the U S army nearly three years being stationed half of that time in Burma and India. He was a nephew of Mrs. T. B. Harmon of Aline who with her husband attended the service.
Survivors are the wife and six months old daughter, Barbara June, of the home; his parents Mr and Mrs Dan B. Davidson of Cleo Springs and twelve brothers and sisters.
