She was born October 4, 1918, in Waynoka to Lunsford Cleighborn and Annie Belle (Kerns) Davidson and died Thursday, September 12, 1996, at Greenbrier Nursing Home.
She moved to Enid with her parents at the age of nine and attended Enid public schools.
She married James H. Allen on December 8, 1937, in Enid.
She helped organize the PTA at Jackson School and served as its first president. She volunteered for various community services including the literacy program at the Enid Public Library. She also was active in a program to distribute clothing to the needy. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
