  Letter from Alney McLean to cousin Samuel Stockard This letter had been transcribed and posted on the Tennkin.com site and was saved in 2009 and supplied to me by Kenneth Rickett in October 2018. This site no longer seems to be extant. This letter provides many valuable insights on the McLean and Davidson families but it has several provable errors. None the less, it is a useful testimony to the early history of these families.
