- Daniel Davis Foute was born at the Wilson Farm in the bend of the Nollichucky River, near Union City, Tennessee. They lived in Union City, Tennessee. He died while visiting his daughter in Macon, Mississippi. He was buried at Shady Grove Church, about three miles east of Union City, Tennessee.
