  	I have seen refereneces that Amanda married a Jonas Judson Hail and died about 1873 in San Augustine Co., TX. I have also seen where this is an Amanda Melvina Ewing, b. in same year in TN. The names of the children seem more in line with the Ewing family. What I do not know is whether she might have been adopted by the Ewings. Or if there were 2 distinct people.
