  Civil War:  mustered in Bastrop Co., TX :  Co. G, 17th TX Inf., CSA served with his son, Henry. Lived in  Fayette Co., TX in 1852, because their young daughter is buried in the Winchester Cemetery. First wife Martha E. Organ, possibly died before 1843, when he married Harriet Caroline Hart because in 1852, when Thomas and Harriet came to Texas, they brought his child by his first wife.  This child Mary Mathilda Hall born Dec. 5, 1840 is buried in the Winchester Cemetery, in Winchester, TX.
