Elvira Jane "Ella" (Davidson) Kilpatrick was born on Feb. 29, 1868 in Cherokee County, North Carolina to Robert Brank Vance and Ann Elizabeth (Harris) Davidson. She married James Warren Kilpatrick. Ella died on Feb. 20, 1960 in Cherokee County.
From Edith Kilpatrick, Duluth, GA:
"Ella Davidson Kilpatrick was my Great Grandmother. Her Children were Alice Kilpatrick, Geneva Kilpatrick, and Charles Allen Kilpatrick. Alice and Geneva are both buried in this same cemetary (Ranger United Methodist Church). Charles Allen (Charlie) Kilpatrick is buried at Mt. Liberty Baptist Church in Murphy. Ella's Grandson and Great Grandson - Ray Charles Kilpatrick and Mitchell Dean Kilpatrick are buried at Ranger United Methodist Church".
