      Services for Joe L. Morton, 35, were held at the Presbyterian Church officiated by Rev. Bryan H. Keathley, pastor.

      Morton died from pneumonia.

      Joe L. Morton married Miss Myrtle Emaline Young in 1925 at Graham, Texas.

      His death was caused by complications from gas damage to his lungs sustained during World War I.

      Survived by his wife; two sons - Joe and William; his mother of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister - Mrs. B.W. DePerri, Mrs. Lera Dodson, Mrs. A.W. Nelson; Miss Ruby Morton, two brothers - David and Charles.
