  	Willis Ronda Hubbard, 75, of Old Wilkesboro Road, Taylorsville, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at his home. He was born in Alexander County April 18, 1933, the son of the late Carlie Hubbard and Pearl Davidson Hubbard. He was a retired furniture worker and poultry farmer and a member of Salem Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Edith Treadway, Elsie Childers, Mozelle Wallace, Opal Johnson, and Dorothy Childers, and a grandson, Zachary Hubbard. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Elder Hubbard of the home; two daughters, Robin Hargis of the home, and Nancy Hefner and husband Terry of Conover; one son, John Hubbard and wife Kerri of Winston-Salem; a sister, Cecil Bentley of Taylorsville; seven grandchildren, Scott George and wife Melinda, Heather George, Kayla Hefner, Dylan Hefner, Matthew Hubbard, Devin Nichols, and Dakota Parsons; and three great-grandchildren, Haley George, Hokden Nichols, and D.J. Nichols; very special friends James Fox and Neil Matheson. Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 23, 2008, at Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Ray Ohlendorf officiating.
