  	Funeral services for Theodore F. "Whitey" Gebhart, 79, of 487 Centerville Road, Newville, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. He died Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at home. Born July 1, 1921 in Cornwall, he was the son of the late Herbert F. and Mary L. Anderson Eppley Gebhart. A retired car salesman, he worked at the former Varsity Volkswagen in Carlisle for 18 years and formerly worked for Arnold Motors and W.L.S. Motors in Carlisle. He was a member of the Centerville Lutheran Church, Newville, Elks Lodge in Carlisle, Big Spring Masonic Lodge 361, Harrisburg Consistory, social member of the American Legion Post in Shippensburg, Fort Morris AARP, and a life member and first president of Penn Township Fire Co., Newville. Mr. Gebhart is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte E. Davidson Gebhart; a daughter, Vicki L. Magee of Newville; three grandsons; and nine great-grandchildren. The Rev. R. Lindsay Ingram will officiate at services. Burial will be in Centerville Memorial Park, Newville.
